If you are LGBTQ and/or and ally, this is an atmosphere of openness and engagement in learning how God loves and accepts all of us, irregardless of how we identify or see ourselves. It is an inclusive, wonderful group of Christians who explore self-love with God’s love. The benefits of being a part of this group is learning from some wonderful souls how they cope with their journey with God. And the snacks we share are a bit healthy and most definitely sweet. If I had to sum up this Bible Study Group, it would be, you get to have your cake and eat it too.
What i have personally learned that has impacted me the most is that once I accepted Jesus as my Savior, my identity of who I thought I was completely changed to being just a child a God, and not someone defined by my pronouns.
Galatians 3: for in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith. 27 As many of you as were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28 There is no longer Jew or Greek, there is no longer slave or free, there is no longer male and female; for all of you are one in Christ Jesus.
